Sick children to benefit from franchise’s online footy tipping competition

Footy tipping online will benefit sick kids thanks to a mortgage broking franchise. The Starlight ChildrenÕs Foundation for seriously-ill and hospitalised children will receive $5 from Club Financial Services for every entrant in its competition.

And entrants can win $1000 for their local sporting club and $1000 for themselves.

Club Financial Services managing director, Andrew Clouston, said the new footy tipping competition stems from the firmÕs commitment to local communities and local sport.

“It is a great way to give back to a local club in our community and support a charity that does great work with our children,” said Clouston.

Club Financial Services plans to raise at least $20,000 for the Starlight ChildrenÕs Foundation this year.

Kendra Overall, national corporate partnerships manager, Starlight ChildrenÕs Foundation said “The demand for StarlightÕs programs continues to grow with over 600,000 child admissions to hospitals each year around Australia. Starlight reaches one-third of these children and their families. The money from Club Financial Services will help give more of these children the opportunity to access and benefit from StarlightÕs programs”.
