New look for The Coffee Club

The home-grown Australian cafe group, The Coffee Club, has unveiled its first new-look cafe, at Sydney International Airport. This is the first in a series of newly designed cafes that will incorporate elements from the company’s global business approach and its familiar branding.

The new design strategy aims to demonstrate the company’s growing international profile with the sense of a customised identity.

The Coffee Club director John Lazarou said the brand is all about inclusiveness.

“The new look enhances the feeling of security and reassurance that our cafe’s provide. Our business is growing internationally but we will retain an inherent connection to our local surrounds and customers.

“The care and attention we put into our cafes is why people love us and our brand. I do quite a bit of travel so I have spent my fair share of time in airport lounges that traditionally lack a warm, inclusive and welcoming atmosphere. The new design strategy meets the needs of the modern cafe customer who seeks a welcoming and relaxed experience” Lazarou said.

So natural, warm, modern textures are mixed with features and fixtures that give individual cafes a sense of their location and local environment.

Franchisees Jeremy Horne and Aaron Jack will be the first to showcase the new look.

“Aaron and I are thrilled to be the first franchisees in Australia to show off the new layout and design of The Coffee Club not only to Australian consumers but to international visitors,” said Horne.

“The design retains the familiar brand traits but design details are enhanced affording the cafe a fresh modern look. From lighting to fixtures, artwork to furniture, the elements that have been re-modelled will enhance the overall experience for customers and from our perspective, we will benefit from enhanced operations flow and efficiency” he said.

STORE ROLLOUT

The Coffee Club now has 253 cafes in Australia and will be rolling out the new look fit out to several stores in the coming months. The western Brisbane suburb of Indooroopilly was the second outlet to be showcasing the new look at the Indooroopilly Shopping Centre.

The next location to receive the new fit out will be in the Brisbane International Airport in early December.

The Coffee Club Sydney International Airport will be open from 5am until 9pm seven days a week and is located shop 2 in T1 Check-in hall.
