Muffin Break launches new Weight Watchers approved range

Bakery-caf_ brand Muffin Break has today introduced an extended range of Weight Watchers approved meal options for customers seeking healthier alternatives. 

While the brand has offered a selection of Weight Watchers endorsed muffins since 2006, the extended range comprises sweet and savoury items, along with beverages. 

All items are less than nine ProPoints values each, and they include:

  • Mango, mango and mixed berry and mango and banana smoothies
  • Chicken mustard mayo, herb chickpea pattie and salad, tuna mayo and turkey and apple coleslaw wraps
  • Carrot, banana and caramel, mango orange and white chocolate tea cakes
  • Cranberry and blueberry, passionfruit and pineapple, chocolate raspberry, peach cinnamon, chocolate orange, raspberry apple and strawberry chocolate muffins

Muffin Break’s national brand manager John Macphail said he is delighted to be offering customers a more extensive range of healthier options.

“With a growing societal trend towards living a healthy and balanced lifestyle, we have recognised that our customers sometimes want a healthier choice which doesn’t compromise on taste or experience.”

He said the aim is to provide customers with more choice by offering a combination of healthy alternatives and more indulgent options.

“Muffin Break is a much loved “treat” destination and we will continue to provide our customers with choice, including for low-fat, gluten-free and Weight Watchers endorsed products.

“By introducing this extended range of Weight Watchers-endorsed products, our customers can make more informed decisions about what they wish to eat when visiting us,” added Macphail.
