Lenard’s appoints retail marketing specialist

LenardÕs, the chicken retail franchise, has appointed retail marketing specialists, IdeaWorks Brisbane as a new strategic creative partner.

IdeaWorks Brisbane (part of the Y&R group) joins a brand collaborative that includes specialist female consumer consultancy All About Eve and media buying house Mitchell Media. The three firms will develop an overall brand strategy for Lenard’s.

Marketing manager at Lenard’s, Zoe Jacovou, said “IdeaWorks Brisbane demonstrated that they understood the challenges of this competitive, volatile consumer market and had a solid grasp of the challenges facing our business.”

Phil McDonald, group MD, Y&R Brisbane said “We have had an association with Lenard’s before, but this full time appointment is a great opportunity to help re-focus their marketing efforts and make a real difference.

“We want to bring the best in new retail thinking to the partnership and it’s great to see a successful company so driven to find new ways to grow in the retail sector today.”
