NSW-based real estate franchise Laing+Simmons held its annual awards night last week, with Laing+Simmons Pennant Hills taking out the Office of the Year Award and Laing+Simmons Granville Principal Ray Fayad earning a place in the prestigious Laing+Simmons Hall of Fame.

The 2011 Laing+Simmons Awards were held at Luna Park on Saturday July 23 and recognised the contributions and achievements from the 50 Laing+Simmons offices around the state.

“Despite a softening in market conditions, Laing+Simmons enjoyed another highly successful year on the back of our boutique service offering and commitment to performing beyond expectations,” said Laing+Simmons general manager Leanne Pilkington.

“We continue to monitor strategic expansion opportunities without taking a ‘growth

for growth’s sake’ approach,” she said.

Major award winners on the night were:

  • Ray Fayad of Laing+Simmons Granville was inducted into the Laing+Simmons Hall of Fame;
  • Laing+Simmons Pennant Hills won the Office of the Year Award;
  • The 2011 Laing+Simmons Rookie of the Year is Sean Tunnicliff from Laing+Simmons Drummoyne;
  • Bart Doff of Laing+Simmons Double Bay was the Top Income Producer for the year;
  • Laing+Simmons Bondi Beach was awarded the Auction Excellence Award for achieving the highest auction clearance rate for the year. This is the 17th year running that the Bondi Beach office has won the award.
