Commercial cleaning business Jani-King, with its global headquarters in the US, has opened an office in the ACT. This means the franchise now has a national presence in Australia.

NSW regional manager Steve Phillips has been instrumental in setting up the Canberra office which will be headed by area development manager, Tevita Kilisimasi (Masi) Aho, a former First Secretary (Diplomatic) and personal assistant to the high Commissioner of the Kingdom of Tonga.

Aho (pictured) brings public relations and marketing experience to the role.

Phillips said there were negotiations taking place on cleaning opportunities around the greater Canberra region.

“Establishing a base for ourselves in the ACT was always on the radar; however it was imperative that we did this when opportuniites were there, which they are now.”
