Home Timber & Hardware is giving away 10 Grassroots Club Grants of $5,000.

The official hardware store of the National Rugby League (NRL), Home Timber and Hardware is giving grassroots Rugby League clubs across Australia the chance to score one of 10 Grassroots Club Grants of $5,000.

Andrew Senyard from Home Timber and Hardware said the Grassroots Club Grants program supports the passion and important role grassroots clubs play in Australian communities providing inspiration and enjoyment for people of all ages.

“WeÕre passionate about the game — right down to its roots. As locally-owned businesses, Home Timber and Hardware stores are active members of their communities and are always eager to make a real difference. Grassroots Club Grants helps stores get behind their local Rugby League clubs with some much-needed financial assistance — whether itÕs to help improve grounds, purchase new equipment, jumpers and medical supplies, or help the club with what Home Timber and Hardware knows best — a clubroom renovation!”

The Grassroots Club Grants program kicked off on 15 August. It will be promoted through the network of independently owned stores, dedicated online activity at the group’s website homehardware.com.au, an extensive public relations campaign and announcements in the seasonal ÔDogaloguesÕ catalogue. —

Its sponsorship of the NRL also ensures promotional activity on and off the field. Kicking
