A free weekend at the Big 4 Deniliquin Holiday Park has been awarded to HeartKids, an organisation that aims to improve the lives of children affected by heart disease.

The Facebook competition was launched in July, offering the whole park to large groups from bowling clubs and youth groups to families seeking a reunion.

HeartKids winning entry means 22 families from the Victoria, Tasmania and New South Wales organisation will be able to enjoy a free weekend with cabin and site accommodation and kids’ activities provided by park owners Frank and Lynda White.

Frank White said “The HeartKids families have been through some incredibly tough times so we’re really looking forward to helping them let their hair down and just enjoy a fun weekend away from the world of hospital visits and doctor check-ups.”
