Eagle Boys Pizza tops 300 stores with the opening of the latest outlet in Ryde, Sydney. The Queensland based pizza franchise business aims to open 50 new stores across Australia this year, as part of a $20 million expansion strategy which will see Eagle Boys grow its store numbers by more than 17 percent.

Eagle Boys CEO Todd Clayton, pictured here, said while franchise opportunities would be available across Australia, Sydney and Adelaide remained a key focus.

“We only entered the Sydney and Adelaide markets in 2008 so there are still plenty of opportunities for us in these key areas. Our research shows there is strong demand for our pizzas here which is why half of all the store openings planned for 2010 will be in these two cities,” he said.

Clayton said the companyÕs double-digit store and sales growth was being fuelled by growing demand for better pizzas, online ordering, strong sales growth and a high level of inquiries from potential franchisees.
