Eagle Boys looks for slice of Father’s Day market

Franchise chain Eagle Boys Pizza is partnering with a group buying website for the first time this Father’s Day weekend.

The Australian owned pizza-making network is Scoopon’s exclusive QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) partner for Father’s Day.

The network’s chief officer – marketing and sales, Stacey Thorpe, said “Pizza has predominately been a coupon driven industry and over the last 18 months more and more customers have switched behaviour from handheld to online deals and coupons.

“Father’s Day is the perfect time to get on board the online deal phenomenon.”

The deal gives customers the opportunity to buy two large traditional or value favourites pizzas and a five pack of chicken wings for $9. The deal is valid over the Father’s Day weekend of Saturday, September 1 and Sunday, September 2.

Customers must pre-purchase the deal from the site. Once the purchase is complete each customer will receive his or her unique code. The customer prints the deal and takes it to their local Eagle Boys store.
