Franchise cafe business Jamaica Blue is set to launch six new stores, bringing the franchise to about 160 outlets trading across seven markets, including considerable growth in Australia.

In June Jamaica Blue’s new stores will commence trading in Richmond NSW, Erina NSW, Moore Park NSW, Mt Ommaney QLD, Toowong QLD and Karrinyup WA.

Two new stores are also set to soon launch in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

National brand manager Drew Eide said that The Food Co. Group – the company that owns Jamaica Blue – has a growth strategy in place that’s a leading factor in its ongoing global success.

“With a constantly evolving retail operations and marketing strategy to ensure Jamaica Blue remains relevant in each of the markets in which we operate, the fact that we thoroughly research and understand a market before we enter it is paramount to the ongoing global success of Jamaica Blue.

“Jamaica Blue will not enter a new market simply for the sake of presence. We will enter only with a focused strategy for long-term success that is based on a sound knowledge of the market,” Eide said.
