Multi-unit franchisees Terry and Jeanette Bambury have just opened their fourth Zarraffa’s Coffee store on the Sunshine Coast. The new drive through outlet is situated on the main road to Golden Beach in Caloundra.

Terry Bambury said the decision to open a store was easy, given the success of his most recent drive through venture on Aerodrome Rd, Maroochydore.

“We opened our Maroochydore drive thru in December 2011 and haven’t looked back. The success of the store has enabled us to bring the Zarraffa’s brand to other parts of the Sunshine Coast.”

The Bambury’s, who also own the Zarraffa’s Coffee store at Sunshine Plaza, opened their first store in Morayfield in July 2005 and still employ two of the original staff members.

“Our team is critical to a smooth and successful operation. We will relocate management and staff to open our Caloundra drive thru, resulting in the creation of 25 new jobs across our group of stores.”

Zarraffa’s CEO Kenton Campbell believes the Bambury’s business success is a result of understanding how to get the most out of their franchise opportunities.

“Terry and Jeanette wholeheartedly embrace the franchise model, looking to expand through operational innovations such as the drive thru store, all the while keeping to our core business strengths of product and service,” said Campbell.

“Their ongoing success is testament to their hard work, savvy and commitment to reach their financial goals through the systems made available by Zarraffa’s.”

Terry Bambury said the coffee outlets are more than just business. “For me, working in our stores is more enjoyable than just a job, it has become a passion. I think our customers return for the great service and also the energy given off by baristas that really enjoy their work.

“If I take a look back on the journey to date I’d have to say it’s been the best eight years of my life!”
