Stepz Fitness expands in QLD

Stepz Fitness has opened a gym in Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley, the first 24 hour facility for the suburb.

The club opened this week at the TC Beirne Centre and is the eighth gym for the franchise.

Franchisee Paul Dang, who owns the gym with his wife Sa, said Stepz is a great addition to Brisbane’s famous entertainment precinct.

“There was no 24 hour gym in the area and after speaking with the locals, we realised there was an exciting and untapped opportunity to open this style of club,” he said.

“There are a lot of corporates, residents and students who frequent the Valley, so offering a gym that was flexible for this market made a lot of sense. We are close to the train station and in between the Brunswick Street and China Town malls, so we enjoy a prime location too.”

The Fortitude Valley site is one of the biggest in the Stepz network at 305 sqm and Dang said Stepz’s 4/7 offering, affordable membership fees and no fixed contracts makes it an attractive option for those looking to join a gym.

“It meets the needs of our clients who lead busy lifestyles, so with this type of affordability and flexibility there is no excuse for not working out,” he said.
