Warren and Nicole Williams of PoolWerx Spearwood have been named the brand’s National Franchise Partner of the Year for 2013.

They received the award after the Spearwood business achieved a 12 percent growth over the past year, and the support the pair have given to the franchise nationally also contributed to their success.

Warren said he and his wife were delighted to win the prestigious award.

“There are so many talented people in the PoolWerx group, so to be recognised ahead of them all is a great feeling and an achievement we don’t take lightly.”

The business has gone from strength to strength since they joined the brand in 2005. “We joined the franchise with a mobile service van and now we operate a retail store and five vans.

“However, none of it would have been possible without our excellent staff including our daughter Karlee who leads the team as Retail Manager and the ongoing support of our clients,” Warren said.

In 2012 the franchisees Spearwood store was recognised by WA Swimming Pool & Spa Association (SPASA) as the best pool shop in the state.

Warren said a strong local area marketing program had contributed to their success. “We’ve done a lot of work around the local shopping centre including regular newsletter involvement, community sausage sizzles and we’ve established close associations with the local business community including real estate agents within the centre.”

PoolWerx CEO John O’Brien said the pair were incredibly deserving of their award.

“Not only are Nicole and Warren top performing business people, they also regularly donate their time to improving the franchise systems and helping fellow franchise partners when extra support is required,” he said.
