New appointment to boost growth at Beaumont Tiles

Beaumont Tiles is aiming to strengthen its market position and reputation with the appointment of a chief operations officer who will oversee store expansion, increased efficiency and new product offers.

Danny Casey was  previously the CEO of Detmold Packaging Group for 14 years. Casey said “Beaumont Tiles is medium- sized enterprise that has garnered a reputation as an industry leader, maintaining 12 percent of the market nationally and 50 percent in South Australia.

“We’re looking to build upon our reputation further and anticipate a growth of 40 percent nationally over the next five years.

Beaumont Tiles’ sustainable growth plan has been designed to see rapid expansion and product development during a period of industry lull, positioning it as a national leader by the time market improvement is seen.

This will include a national store presence of 130 in the next five years across both Australia and New Zealand, the creation of 500 new jobs, and doubled revenue.

A key component of expansion across the eastern states will be company acquisitions.

“The current state of our economy is hard for all businesses, especially those on a smaller scale. We have great appreciation of the knowledge and skills these retailers have and are lucky enough to retain it within the industry by bringing them on board through employment or franchise – an option that is much more appealing with our name and reputation behind it,” Casey said.

Casey has highlighted product development, including further expansion of its extensive bathroomware line and the launch of outdoor products.

“The introduction of this new product line is a natural progression for the business and will perfectly complement its existing ranges,” Casey said.
