LeWrap fee waiver support

LeWrap fee waiver bolsters an already premium support model

At LeWrap, whether you’re a brand new franchisee or a multi-unit operator with five stores, you can count on the franchisor’s ongoing support.

As the 20-store chain ramps up growth, bringing in new franchisees is part of the strategy. And a current fee waiver is proving a compelling draw for new franchisees looking for the flexibility and independence, backed by support, that LeWrap offers.

This special offer is available for a limited time only. Current franchise opportunities, with the waiver in place, start from $400,000, depending on location and format. A full shopfront dine-in restaurant costs from $450,000 after the waiver.

Whatever the store size, the waiver translates to a massive saving: a $50,000 franchise fee; $15,000 training fee, and waived fees for documentation and project management.

“That’s typically about $100,000 that a franchisee can put in their pocket and have as a kickstart towards their business,” Manal Haydar, general manager, franchising, says.

“It makes it really appealing for new business owners. There is flexibility and it allows mums to be entrepreneurs.

“The model allows corporates tired of working long hours to get into a business and start something for the family. It also suits QSR managers who may want to be business owners with an affordable opportunity,” Manal says.

LeWrap’s support starts with training

LeWrap guides franchisees through every stage of their business journey from site selection and store design to grand opening, she explains.

So whether franchisees have any hospitality experience, or come to the industry afresh, they are well-equipped to operate their business.

A four-week training program sets franchisees up to start their business. New franchisees learn operational procedures including compliance, inventory systems, business management, recruitment and staff training.

In addition to classroom learning, franchisees spend time in store learning hands-on operations.

“Our franchisees receive extensive onboarding and practical training, then they have one-on-one support. And everything we cover in training is continued post-training so it becomes common language for them,” Manal says.

A head office team is rostered on from open to close to support the owner for the first two weeks. This intense level of support allows franchisees to take charge of their business, under supervision.

We’re almost shadowing them throughout that post-opening process. We’re watching you do what we’ve trained you to do, but we’re there for any unexpected moments,” Manal explains.

“The team at LeWrap is here to foster long-term franchise relationships and strong multi-site growth across the network,” Manal says.

LeWrap promotes a hands-on and supportive environment with franchise partners as they build their businesses.

Ongoing support for growth-oriented franchisees

To that end, rather than zoning in a target number of stores to open, LeWrap focuses on ensuring franchisees are ready and capable to take their business to the next level.

“We have a process where franchises need to be deemed expandable before they can actually open their second, their third or their fourth store,” Manal explains.

The process evaluates whether franchisees are operating their first business correctly. It assesses compliance, team management, recruitment and profitability.

The evaluation considers whether the franchisee is meeting benchmarks and if they have the structure to operate a second store.

“I always tell my franchisees, treat your business like a baby. It is only when they start walking, and that’s usually at the 12 month mark, that you start letting go. You’re there to support them, but you’re not there all the time,” she says. “That’s where we want our franchisees to be.”

Once franchisees are granted expandable, LeWrap’s franchise team works through the same process as with the first store so they can take the next step with confidence.

Helping franchisees fulfil their potential

That careful eye on progress continues as each franchisee grows their business; the support team monitors performance against potential.

“When we believe the franchise can achieve more, we conduct a gap analysis on the store, looking at training and compliance to spot areas that could improve,” Manal says.

If training issues are holding back the business, a training support team will spend time in the store upskilling and uptraining.

“If it’s an ongoing operational or compliance issue, then it’s an education piece. The operational team will help the franchisee understand the importance of consistency and compliance,” Manal says.

LeWrap has strong operational systems, family-driven values and and has spent more than 20 years creating a business model designed for long-term success,” Manal says.

“It’s a super exciting time to join our brand. We are looking for motivated, driven and passionate people who want to be a part of our growth and success,” she says.  “We have phenomenal new site opportunities now available and are excited to see these open.”
