Franchising is often the most cost effective and widely endorsed business growth strategy for SMEs. Notwithstanding, it is not a silver bullet for success and many factors will need to be considered before you take the leap into franchising.

In many cases franchising is simply not suited to the particular business concept in question and, in fact, may not be the solution for the successful growth of the business.

Nevertheless, if you have been running your business for a number of years with a proven business model and systems, if there is demand for your products or services, if your business is scalable, and if you are committed to marketing the franchise opportunity to others then franchising may be an expansion method you should consider.
