Despite being the only Pack & Send franchise in Tasmania, the 2008 Pack & Send Franchisee of the Year award went to the Hobart store. Competing against 92 other national franchisees, sales at this franchise have continually grown at a rapid rate since opening five years ago.

The very high standard maintained by Pack & Send franchises meant it was a tough process for CEO Michael Paul to choose the winner. “This is a business that is recognised internationally for its high franchise standards and to be named as the best franchise in our network is an outstanding business achievement,” said Paul.

Andrew Goldsworthy, franchisee of the award-winning Hobart store, along with his wife Sharon, said, “I never expected to win the award. Its an absolute honour to be recognised as the 2008 Pack & Send Franchisee of the Year.”

As an ex-engineer for the Royal Australian Navy, Goldsworthy had little business experience, so a franchise providing him with training was the ideal solution. “Pack & Send provided me with proven systems and procedures.
