Queensland based coffee shop franchise Zarraffa’s is heading down south to open a flagship store location in NSW.

A drive thru site in Fairfield, on Smithfield Road west of Sydney City, will be the company’s flagship location in the NSW capital and CEO Kenton Campbell is thrilled.

“We are keen to introduce Sydneysiders to our particular brand of coffee and it means that our loyal customer base will be able to get their favourite cup of coffee at even more convenient locations.

“Over the past couple of years we have made a conscious decision to deliver on convenience for our customers. Moving away from traditional shopping centre locations to more suburban retail sites and developing a successful drive thru store model has been critical to these plans.”

Campbell said “Our primary focus is on building the financial health of all our stores and delivering value and support to our franchisees. Expansion has always been executed in a financially responsible way and 2012 is the right time for this move.”

The chain has 52 stores and is expected to open at least 11 more franchises this year throughout Queensland and NSW.
