Domino’s Pizza is to hire 3,000 delivery drivers as the brand sets its sights on opening 40 new stores in Australia and New Zealand in the next six months.
“We are hugely focused on delivery and the recent success of our 20 minute service guarantee means customers are reaping the benefits and stores right across Australia are seeing a surge in this area of the business,” said Don Meij, CEO and managing director at Domino’s Group.
Domino’s offers a variety of delivery fleet made up of electric bikes (e-bikes), scooters, cars and robots, according to a report by Inside Retail.
“We even have stores doing the unthinkable and introducing a world first in pizza delivery by offering customers a 10 minute delivery, made possible through cutting-edge technology and operation efficiency.”
Domino’s is set to serve up 40 new stores across Australia and New Zealand within the next six months.
“The next 10 stores we plan to open are in locations right across ANZ in Walkworth, NZ, Whyalla SA, Noranda WA, Casey ACT, Meadowbank NZ, Pyrmont NSW, Unanderra NSW, Ashburton NZ, Bundaberg East QLD and West Perth WA.
“We are excited about the growth and opportunities currently available and can’t wait to welcome our latest recruits who will be lighting up their GPS car toppers and pedalling pizza passion right across the country,” said Meij.
