At-home care services merged

The franchise network Dial-An-Angel has merged with community care organisation Nextt.

Nextt has been providing aged care, mental health and disability support services in Victoria, Queensland and New South Wales for more than 12 years. The organisation focuses on the provision of Government Funded community based support and has about 50 staff in-house and 500 community care employees.

In contrast, Dial-An-Angel has an almost exclusively private client base.

By combining both sets of people, systems and processes, the newly formed, expanded group is positioning itself to service clients across the complete spectrum of care: families with young children, private, corporate and brokerage clients, those who are aging, those experiencing mental health difficulties, individuals with a disability and others requiring a complex range of supports to remain independent at home

Dial-An-Angel CEO Danielle Robertson said "We are committed to ensuring that clients will continue to receive the same quality service, provided by the same experienced and friendly staff. Initially, we will be making changes at management level only, Rex Comb, currently executive chair of Nextt, will become executive chair of the combined group. I will remain as the Dial-An-Angel CEO and take on a business development position for the merged group, a role that strongly aligns to my passion and strengths."

Over the next few months the systems and practices across the two organisations will be reviewed with the aim of extending best practice across the combined group.
