Workout World doing its bit for heart health

A combination of Workout World franchises and company-owned stores are donating $40,000 to the Heart Foundation. The money will be raised through a treadmill promotion which will be held across all states, excluding South Australia, from 9 to 31 August.

Workout World will donate $100 from the sale of the first 400 Avanti GFIT300 treadmills to the charity. The price of the treadmills has also been cut from $1,999 to $1,499 during the promotional period.

Marketing manager, Mark Garrahy, said “Some 60 per cent of Australian charities reported falling revenues in the past six months … Workout World is thrilled to be bucking this trend.”

“Many charities are presently feeling the pinch – and companies should perhaps dig a little deeper at this challenging time to support them.”
