It is Western Australia’s turn to host the Franchising and Business Opportunities Expo, which will take place on May 15 and 16, offering potential franchisees a range of business opportunities in a number of different industries, from food service to finance, telecommunications and signage.

Visitors will be able to take advantage of the Franchising Advice Centre, where specialist lawyers and franchise bankers will provide free legal and financial advice on the best way to buy and start a franchise.

The expo will also hold a number of daily seminars at the Franchising Seminar Theatre where experts in franchising will cover topics such as tax tips and traps in buying a small business; financing your business and what you need to consider; as well as an open panel discussion on franchising your business.

The 90 minute Franchising Bootcamp sessions include a presentation on the franchising code of conduct, legal and financial seT-up and an open discussion where visitors can get advice from franchisees about how best to start up a franchise.

And that is just for starters. The expo gives the opportunity to view first hand a host of franchise brands and chat to the franchisors and franchisees.

Franchises that will be exhibiting at the expo include:

The expo will run from 10am to 5pm on Saturday, 15 May and from 10am to 4pm on Sunday 16 May.
