Sushi franchise, Wasabi Warriors has signed up a new Sydney recruit, Eddy Yang as part of its Manage to Own program.

The program aims to expand the franchise by allowing a bulk of the start-up investment to come through vendor finance.

Targeted at talented, energetic individuals, the Manage to Own program provides full on the job training and support, allowing franchisees to pay for the business from the profits they make and only hand over a 20 percent deposit to get them started.

Nicola Mills, managing director at Pacific Retail Management, Wasabi Warriors’ umbrella company, said “Research shows us, that younger entrepreneurs are missing out on the opportunity to own and run their own business, because they simply don’t have the capital to start up their own business.”

The franchise is also looking to expand into the Elizabeth Shopping Centre in Adelaide.
