Industrial and trade tool retailer Total Tools has reported record sales figures for the final month of 2008. The Australian-owned franchise network of retailers posted a 27 percent increase on December 2007 sales. The success was distributed evenly among Total ToolsÍ 24 national stores with all states recording record profit increases.

“Total Tools is going through a great sales phase at the moment,” Total Tools CEO, Greg Heath said. “Our stores traded exceptionally well over the last six months with sales increasing around 10 percent when compared to the same sales period in 2007,on a like store basis. These results reflect our stance as the market leader in professional tools ƒ and we owe that to the knowledge and experience of our franchise store owners and their staff,” Heath said. “The fact that each Total Tools store accesses around 50,000 product lines also helps keep us at the top of our game,” he added.

Total Tools opened new concept stores at Hoppers Crossing and Kilsyth in Victoria last year, and a third is set to open in Brendale, Queensland later this month. New store opportunities are available.
