The Mr Rental national support office will be joining a number of its franchisees in celebrating AustraliaÕs Biggest Morning Tea, a fundraising initiative organised by the Cancer Council to fund its research, prevention, education and support facilities.

This is the seventh year in a row the franchise network has supported the cause.

According to general manager, Alan Payne, the franchise as a whole raised close to $80,000 in the last 18 months for the Cancer Council through annual conferences, training and cancer council events.

“We as a franchise are incredibly mindful about supporting the community and being able to give something back to families in need,” Payne said.

On the Biggest Morning Tea date, Thursday 28 May from 9am to 11.30am, the Mr Rental national support office in Lutwyche will be welcoming neighbouring businesses, customers, family, friends and the public alike to join the team for tea and biscuits.

“A small donation made to the Cancer Council at our officeÕs Biggest Morning Tea will support the 1 in 2 Australians who are diagnosed with some form of cancer before they turn 85, as well as the research and education that is involved in its cure and prevention,” Payne said.

“Every dollar raised at the Mr Rental Biggest Morning Tea will be matched dollar for dollar by our founders, Glen and Kerrianne Hickman” said Payne.
