The past 12 months has seen the Novotel Sydney Paramatta rebranded from the Sebel to Novotel, and it has undergone a multi-million dollar renovation.

The hotel’s 194 guestrooms have received new furniture, carpets and soft furnishings, and their bathrooms have been updated with red splashbacks as well as new showers, vanities and mirrors.

More contemporary furniture has been added to the atrium, which forms part of the hotel’s lobby, and the porte-cochere has received a fresh coat of paint, new red pot plants and lounge chairs.  

Novotel Sydney Parramatta’s new general manager, Michael Daviss, said the renovations and rebrand have revitalised the hotel.

“The hotel has always been popular with the corporate market and it is a key conferencing and event hotel for many businesses in the area, so it is great to be able to show off our new product and finish 2013 on a high.

“The completion of our refurbishment could not have come at a better time, with major events such as the NRL Grand Final and upcoming Sydney Festival bringing thousands of people to the area,” Daviss said.

He added feedback from guests about the new rooms and lobby has been great so far.
