Quest awards franchisees

Franchisees Paul and Shirley Dodds have only been with Quest Serviced Apartments since 2011, and have already won the top award, the 2012 Australian Franchise of the Year.

The Dodds’ combined industry and franchising backgrounds were instrumental in the dramatic improvement in the performance of the business over this short period.

The franchise accommodation business held its annual gala awards dinner in Melbourne to recognise its leading franchises and franchisees across the Australasian network.

All of the award winners had been judged on growth in generation of yields, the ability to maximise the potential of rooms on an ongoing basis, and compliance to the company’s core values.

The evening also celebrated the success of the network’s expansion, with properties in Bundoora, Whyalla and Sydney Olympic Park in Australia, and Rotorua Central and Tauranga in New Zealand all opening this financial year.
