New TV commercial promotes Pizza Hut Signature range [video]

Pizza Hut has launched a new television commercial to promote its new pizza range, Signature, which aims to take on the premium pizza market, but at a more affordable price.

Running for seven weeks nationally from 5 March the 30 second commercial (see below) is also supported by media and online activity.

The commercial shows close-up shots of gourmet ingredients including spanish onion and avocado, and also stars the pizza franchise’s icon, Dougie.

Advertising agency M&C Saatchi Group’s Mark Timmins said “To launch Pizza Hut‘s foray into a premium offering, M&C Saatchi and Resolution Design used slow motion, close-up photography, bringing to life the quality of the ingredients in the Signature range. As Dougie says in the commercial, ‘It’s a slice of the good life’.”

The Signature range features 14 flavours — six completely new for the brand including Tandoori Chicken, Mexicana, Steakhouse, Antipasto, Surf and Turf and Four Cheese — and is available permanently across the country for just $15 each.
