The Mr Rental national support office will be joining a number of its franchisees in volunteering to raise money for the Cancer Council on Daffodil Day – August 28, 2009.

This is the 8th consecutive year that Mr Rental has participated in the fundraiser.

According to Alan Payne, general manager at Mr Rental, the franchise as a whole has raised over $75,000 in the past 18 months for the Cancer Council through annual conferences, training and other Cancer Council events.

On August 28, the Mr Rental national support office in Lutwyche will be volunteering at one of the 1,200 Daffodil Day stalls, helping sell daffodils, bears, pins and pens.

The Cancer Council is hoping to raise over $9 million to fund the cancer control initiatives, patient support and educational services of their eight state and territory member organisations.
