Air conditioning cleaning business, HydroKleen Australia has appointed a new operations manager in Michael Wilson as well as Harry Proskefalas as its new business development manager.
Wilson will be responsible for overseeing the business’s day-to-day operation and long-term planning, meanwhile Proskefalas will manage the development of HydroKleen’s new and existing franchises.
Wilson holds a real estate licence and has worked in the industry for almost 10 years, a portion of which was spent at a national property franchise.
He was most recently responsible for providing business support to England’s largest optical dispensary, and was based out of London for two years.
Proskefalas brings more than 10 years of experience owning and managing franchised brands including Boost Juice, The Coffee Club and The Crepe Caf_ to the role.
In addition, he has provided corporate management services to NightOwl and Bakers Delight.
The two new appointments are reflective of HydroKleen’s rapid expansion – it has sold six new franchises across five states since November 2013, almost doubling in size since 2012.
Sharon Jurd, the director of HydroKleen Australia said the appointments provide franchisees with professional support backed by direct franchise experience.
“With support from Harry and Michael, our franchisees will be able to get the best out of their business.
“Once a franchise begins operation, it’s crucial they receive the support to properly engage in the systems and processes and maintain brand consistency,” she added.
Wilson and Proskefalas will both be based out of HydroKleen’s head office, which is located on the Gold Coast.
