Home Caring wins top award, plans another 30 outlets for 2022

In-home seniors and disability care provider Home Caring has won a top franchising award. The Aussie business has been named Australian Emerging Franchisor of the Year, just three years after launching its franchise model.

Bill Lockett, Home Caring franchise manager, said this achievement acknowledges Home Caring’s great  success in a high-growth industry. 

“In just over three years, we’ve opened 50 locations in Australia – half of them in the last 12 months,” he said. “We’re  now one of the fastest growing franchises in the country.’

The business is primed to keep on a growth trajectory, he said, with two or three new franchises a month set to expand the network by another 30 units.

“The home care market has never-ending potential, so we are looking forward to building on our results to become Australia’s largest home caring franchise.”

While the aged and disability home care demand is growing significantly, the number of service providers has only grown 5 per cent, he said.

There are only a handful of franchised aged and disability home care providers in Australia.

“The big difference is our partnership model,” Bill told Inside Franchise Business. “We target health professionals, registered nurses have the empathy needed for the care, we’re equally invested in making the business profitable.”

Home Caring provides a 50/50 partnership model for franchisees, who pay $100,000 to invest in the business. Finance options are also available, for instance franchisees can reduce their upfront cost and pay the balance out of future profits.
