Franchise sushi restaurant, GO Sushi, has opened another eatery in the Sunshine Plaza shopping centre in Queensland. Owned by long-standing GO Sushi franchisee Roz Pinto, the second store in one mall shows the increased demand for this growing sushi restaurant.

Pacific Retail national marketing manager Scott Philipson said of the newest opening, “This is the first time that we have looked at operating two GO Sushi stores in the one shopping centre and it really shows just how much sushi has grown in the Australian market.”

Philipson added, “Roz has been a fantastic franchisee for a very long time and is involved in stores from Brisbane, Sunshine Coast and Mackay. We are always encouraging our franchisees to not only become multiple store owners but also multiple brand owners in the Pacific Retail Management company.”

Since launching in 1999, GO Sushi has gone from strength to strength, now operating 21 franchises within Australia, with more to open early next year both here and abroad.
