Aussie gelato brand Gelatissimo has trumped competitors at the 2013 Dairy Industry Association of Australia NSW product awards, winning four gold and four silver awards.
Its creme caramel flavour was also named Champion Frozen Dairy Confection.
Joint CEO of Gelatissimo, Domenico Lopresti, said the company is committed to flavour innovation backed up by the use of fresh milk,.
“What doesn’t change, despite our evolving menus, is the use of Australia’s best dairy products. And those products are perfectly highlighted because the freshness of our gelato is guaranteed, as we make it in-store daily.”
Italian master gelato artisan Anna Temellini recently moved to Australia to establish the Accademia Del Gelato and become the company’s product training and development manager.
