Franchisees drive profitability with service

Excellent service is at the heart of the Kwik Kopy franchise model, geared to franchisee profitability. But now that means more than just great print service, says the system’s newly crowned franchisee of the year, Mike Beuermann, owner of Kwik Kopy Moonee Ponds in Victoria.

Returns from traditional print alone are diminishing, says Mike. “Excellent service is no longer purely about basic printing services,” he says. “To really meet and exceed customer expectations I am now providing far more complex and creative, total solutions. We are a 121 Creative Centre and I have two full-time designers on staff who provide a wide variety of products and services including EDMs, websites, mailouts, and merchandising, in addition to more traditional services.

“Kwik Kopy Australia, our franchisor, has provided excellent opportunity for us through the introduction of design services such as 121 Creative, but ultimately it is up to the individual owner to make it work.

“Here at Kwik Kopy Moonee Ponds we’ve really embraced this support and have seen a 50 percent improvement in our business since introducing these offerings to our local market.”
