Domino’s latest: cheese crusts and $2 snacks

Domino’s has launched a new Cheesy Crust pizza option for cheese loving customers. The cheddar cheese filling is folded inside the outer crust of the pizza base.

The company’s CEO Don Meij said “Our customers have been asking us to make this product for months, but we didn’t want to launch anything until we had a product that clearly delivered great flavour, texture and taste.

“Our Cheesy Crust is softer, stretchier, tastier and healthier – we’ve reduced the fat content of our mozzarella cheese by 30 percent – and we’ve also put more cheese filling into our crust for a greater cavity fill.”

Customers will initially pay an introductory special price of $1.95 extra for the cheesy crust.

Domino’s is also launching a $2 Tasty Treats Menu with a variety of snacks on offer, including two new products, Cheesy Bites and Cinni Bites.

The Cheesy Bites are bite-size savoury balls covered in parmesan and swiss cheese and pasted in a zesty garlic butter, while Cinni Bites are balls covered in sweet cinnamon sugar.
