Cupa Nutz to expand in 2010

This business, which provides hot nut vending machines, was launched in Australia in the second half of 2009. With more than 1,200 machines across New Zealand and in Victoria and Queensland, Cupa Nutz this year plans to sell a minimum of 50 of the available 160 territories in Australia.

The exclusive licenced territory owners have protected boundaries within which to operate. These territories include 30 vending machines and are available from $80,000 plus GST.

Andrew Bence, director of Cupa Nutz, believes the business model is an attractive one for potential owners. As you would expect with a vending business, the hours are minimal for the business owner and the returns are high. Imagine paying off your business inside 18 months, working as little as one day a week, he says.

At the expo in Perth Bence hopes to sign up to 10 licencees.
