Coco Cubano has opened its latest café-restaurant-bar hybrid at Macarthur Square shopping centre, located just south of Campbelltown.

The new outlet will serve up a range of Cuban-inspired meals and beverages around the clock, from the early hours of the morning to late at night.

These include the brand’s signature blend of coffee and a breakfast menu comprising items such as oven baked eggs and a Cuban-style tortilla filled with grilled chorizo, cheese, rocket and tomato relish.

Main meals including smoky pork, chicken or haloumi fajitas and grilled salmon, as well as tapas and bar snacks such as beef, pork or chicken sliders, grilled chorizo and mini quesadillas will also be on offer.

At night, patrons will be able to feast on after dinner desserts such as churros, meanwhile Cuban-inspired cocktails will be available at the bar.

According to new franchisees Mark and Julie Rana, the new outlet fills a gap in the market. “Macarthur Square is going through a cosmopolitan revival, and we’re thrilled to be a part of it.

“Previously locals didn’t have much choice when it came to drinking and dining options, and we’re excited to provide them with an option that caters to many different needs and offers a unique Cuban inspired experience,” they said.

Coco Cubano founder Tony Melham is excited to be teaming up with the Rana’s, and believes they are a great fit for the brand.

“They are passionate about hospitality, Cuba and the Coco Cubano experience. We believe that they will create a fun and friendly environment and will become an integral part of the community,” he said.

“This new venue brings a friendly, relaxed, yet sophisticated drinking and dining experience to locals. With extensive alfresco dining and positioning in a great spot with plenty of outdoor seating in Macarthur Square, the venue will surely become the number one place to see and be seen.”
