Choice Hotels Australasia is experiencing its best year of new property growth in almost a decade, having acquired five new properties in June alone. 

The properties span the states of New South Wales, Queensland and Western Australia.  

The new properties include:

• Econo Lodge Metro Newcastle, NSW
• Comfort Inn Discovery Cairns, QLD
• Clarion Hotel the Hudson Townsville, QLD
• Quality Hotel Bayswater, WA
• Quality Suites Fremantle, WA

“With 17 new property additions already secured for the group in the first half of 2014, Choice Hotels Australasia is on target to have its best year for hotel openings in more than a decade,” said CEO Trent Fraser.
