Convenience retail franchise, Caltex Star Mart, has claimed some of the industry’s top awards at the recent Australasian Association of Convenience Stores awards.

Caltex Star Mart Kingsford, NSW, won the Retail Store of the Year (Company Operated) award, the Hamilton, NSW franchise, operated by Reinhard and Suzannah Bolsius, took out the Retaul Store of the Year (Franchise Operated) award and the franchise also took out the over Major Retailer of the Year 2011 title.

Caltex’s national manager retail, Leo Pucar, said it was an exceptional achievement to win in the three categories.

“The awards are testament to the ongoing passion and dedication of our people and franchisees who are committed to following our rule of ‘Getting it Right’ for our customers,” Pucar said.

“The past 12 months have been challenging for the industry, however Caltex Star Mart is leading the charge on customer service, in-store execution and innovative product offers which are keeping us ahead of the pack.”

Caltex’s general manager marketing, Andy Walz added, “I’m proud of the team’s achievement — this is the fourth year in a row that we have won franchise store of the year and the third time in four years that we have won company store of the year.”
