Business Growth Centre to attend Perth expo

The Business Growth Centre began in 2008 as a West Australian state government initiative to encourage the success of small businesses. It was developed by the Department of Training and Workforce Development with the aim of offering affordable, accessible advice and training to all small business owners and managers.

Stephen Buckley, business consultant at the Business Growth Centre, says the Centre will launch four new programs: Aboriginal Business Mentoring, Green Business Skills, Tourism and Networking.

We will also continue with our flagship program, Small Business Solutions, he says.

The Aboriginal Business Mentoring program provides culturally appropriate and personalised mentoring and coaching services through the Centre’s specialised business advisors. The program offers Open Space Forums in regional areas of Western Australian to discuss business challenges including recruitment and staff retention, improving productivity, creating a business plan, record keeping and marketing and promotions.
