BIG4 Holiday Parks is creating a next generation park reservation system which will launch early next year. The all-in-one, web-based system for accommodation management system will not only improve the day-to-day operation of each franchise park, but will arm the BIG4 group with valuable consumer insights, improving its ability to market to different customer groups.

The tailored reservation system is the latest benefit holiday park owners can enjoy when joining the BIG4 Holiday Parks network, CEO Ray Schliebs explained.

“We’re always looking for ways to support our parks, whether it’s through marketing efforts, knowledge sharing or business development mentors or the new PAM2 system. Armed with these tools, we know our parks are well equipped to grow, evolve and succeed in an ever-changing industry,” he added.

The first version of the Park Accommodation Manager (PAM) proprietary system was released six years ago and can only be used on a desktop.

While the underlying technology has served BIG4 well, the ongoing development opportunities are limited as technology evolves. PAM2 will be a completely new system, using new code, and park operators will have greater access via mobile applications.

“We will be building a BIG4 specific reservation system designed to be flexible and competitive for the future. It will include many of the popular features from the current PAM system, as requested by our current PAM users,” explained Schliebs.

“By combining our strengths in the holiday park and technology sectors, we will continue to drive the industry forward, delivering an innovative product that specifically meets the needs and expectations of BIG4 Holiday Parks and our customers,” he said.
