Shane Radbone has been appointed Chief Operating Officer of Allied Brands, owner, operator and developer of franchises. News of this new appointment comes just days after the company settled the acquisition of Awesome Water, which joins the companyÕs existing portfolio of Baskin Robbins, Cookie Man and Kenny’s Cardiology.

Radbone has a long history with franchise brands, having worked as ceo for WendyÕs Supa Sundae ice cream chain and most recently as ceo of VIP Home Services Group. Managing director of Allied Brands, Peter Graham, said RadboneÕs appointment is recognition of the companyÕs growth over the past year and future success.

“ShaneÕs impressive background in franchising will substantially strengthen Allied BrandÕs management team at a crucial period for the company,” Graham said. “Allied Brands has expanded significantly over the past 12 months [and] the company intends to make further acquisitions this year.
