Zarraffa’s Coffee franchiseees Terry and Jeanette Bambury have taken out the coffee chain’s top award, Franchisee of the Year 2013. Just last year the pair won the Rookie of the Year award for the same store.

The successful couple recently opened a drive through store in Caloundra, and are now the most prolific multi-store franchisees in the group with four cafes along the Sunshine Coast, including Sunshine Plaza and Morayfield.

AWARD WINNING TIPS

Jeannette Bambury said “To be successful you have to be committed, you can’t be afraid to talk to people. We love looking back to our first store and reflecting on what we have achieved.

“We believe the secret is to always enjoy what you do, employ the right staff and work together to empower the business.

NEW AWARDS

Two new awards were added to the line-up this year: a growth award for stores open up to two years, and for those stores open more than two years.

Kenton Campbell, Zarraffa’s Coffee founder and CEO, said “These awards recognise the stores that have achieved the highest percentage increase in sales growth in the past financial year, while our other major awards consider other factors.

“We felt the company was of a size now where it was important to acknowledge both the consistency of product and service on the one hand as well as the financial growth.”
