The Queensland based franchised coffee chain Zarraffa’s Coffee has a new chairman and added a third executive director to the board.

Terry Wimberley, the company’s director of leasing, has been appointed as chair, while in-house lawyer James Barritt has been named as the third executive director alongside CEO and company founder Kenton Campbell.

Campbell said the board developments will set the business in good stead for its anticipated growth over the next two years.

“Both appointments bring with them an area of expertise that will add value at an executive level. I have taken the time to consider what is best for the future direction of business, what is optimum for franchisee returns and the type of leadership required to take us into new territories and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome.”

Terry Wimberley has clocked up more than 40 years of retail leasing and management experience in Australia and the US.

Barritt joined the firm earlier this year in the newly created role of in-house legal but has advised the company on legal issues for the past five years and steered the company’s purchase of Perth-based coffeee chain, One For The Road.

  • Zarraffa’s Coffee has 55 stores trading in Queensland and New South Wales, and is rebranding five One For The Road outlets.
