Cosmetique is the only accredited network of its kind in Australia, offering highly-sought-after, reversible cosmetic injectable treatments in clinics operated by qualified registered nurses.
It’s a business that demands and has instilled robust governance and emergency protocols as fundamentals.
Founder Dr Vivek Eranki has an impressive list of qualifications, in medicine and business. Among his medical credentials, Vivek is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, the Australasian College of Cosmetic Surgery and Medicine, the Korean College of Cosmetic Surgery, and he has an Associate Fellowship from the American Society of Cosmetic Breast Surgeons.
He is also a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management and Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD)..
And it makes sense that with a string of qualifications, Vivek believes in rigorous credentials in his business too.
“I no longer practise clinically and now exclusively work in executive and directorial roles. These interdisciplinary credentials in clinical care, governance, business, and finance ensure that Cosmetique benefits from the brightest advisors and partners in cosmetic medicine,” Vivek says.
He established Cosmetique in 2017 in Perth, Western Australia, and was thrilled with the reception.
“The first day exceeded all our expectations and we had a full week of bookings,” he says.
And the business hasn’t looked back, appealing to a predominantly female client base.
Vivek has a mission to make high‑quality aesthetic treatments accessible and affordable for everyday Australians, without compromising on safety or professionalism.
“I designed the business around a seamless clinic model that unites health practitioners, facilities, and support services. It ensures treatments are delivered efficiently, effectively, and as a priority, safely,” he says.
Cosmetique cosmetic clinics prioritise safety
From the outset, Cosmetique has channelled investment into rigorous training, robust processes, and top quality products. This stringent approach underpins a clinic experience that is both professional and patient‑centric.
Cosmetique was the first cosmetic injectables clinic in the country to achieve accreditation for its safety and quality community healthcare standards.
“This rigorous, independent accreditation attests to our gold‑standard clinical governance, operational integrity, and continuous improvement,” Vivek says. “It demonstrates to patients, partners, and regulatory bodies our unwavering commitment to safety, quality, and leadership in the sector.”
Accreditation ensures franchisees and clinical staff operate under robust protocols that meet or exceed national healthcare benchmarks.
Vivek’s aims to position Cosmetique as a model of delivery and governance in the industry, setting benchmarks for safe, affordable, and scalable cosmetic medicine in Australia.
The decision to offer only reversible options upholds the chain’s clinical safety ethos, he explains.
“Cosmetic treatments are entirely discretionary. Irreversible interventions can carry permanent consequences or unforeseen risks, and may alienate cautious patients seeking change with minimal commitment. Choosing reversible treatments is a deliberate, patient‑first decision.”
Compromising on standards can result in poor outcomes and by avoiding experimental or irreversible procedures, Cosmetique reduces patient risk. This approach highlights the brand’s commitment to trust‑based, responsible cosmetic care.
Behind the scenes an in-house compliance team continually audits treatments and patient outcomes, working with third‑party experts to refine care and ensure robust governance.
“We employ nurses, who are mandated to complete intensive certification from the Aesthetic and Skin Institute (ASI) or similar, supported by ongoing training,” Vivek points out. “We standardise protocols, training and supplier selection based on peer‑reviewed clinical evidence, ensuring consistency across all clinics.”
Growing strategically through franchising
Accountability at every level from frontline practitioners to executive leadership reinforces trust within the organisation and with clients, Vivek says.
Today there are 22 clinics in the Cosmetique group, and there’s an ambition to have 50 open within 18 months.
Vivek is expanding the business strategically with a franchise model. His goal is to put a Cosmetique clinic within reach of most Australians.
Cosmetique is at the beginning of its franchise journey. The goal is to have 90 per cent of the network franchised – scaling the business without compromising its integrity.
Vivek is confident the brand, has a unique offer in the market that will encourage further expansion.
“Cosmetic treatments are increasingly popular and clients want their treatments to be safe. Our conservative, safety‑driven philosophy strengthens the reputation of the brand. It builds long‑term client relationships, and supports sustained franchise success,” he says.
“I want Cosmetique to lead the cosmetic medical sector in governance, innovation, and operational excellence, strong internal demand, and as a proven franchise system.”
