Who’s on the new ACCC committee?

A new committe has been unveiled by the ACCC. Image: pptbackgrounds.netThe Australian Competition and Consumer Commission has forged a brand new consultative committee to discuss small business topics and franchising issues.

The Small Business & Franchising Consultative Committee brings together the two separate bodies previously tasked with concerns over small business, consumer, competition and regulatory issues.

Twenty six members have been appointed to the new committee, including regular contributors to www.FranchiseBusiness.com.au and Franchising magazine: Professor Andrew Terry, Jason Gehrke from the Franchise Advisory Centre, Franchise Relationships Institute founder Greg Nathan, FRANdata’s Darryn McAuliffe and the Franchise Council of Australia.

Also on the committee are Franchisee Success founder Elizabeth Gillam, the Hon David Beddall representing the Franchisee Association of Australia, and McInnes Wilson Lawyers’ Alicia Hill.
