Corina Vucic, director of Melbourne based company, FC Business Solutions, has been named the Franchise Council of Australia’s 2012 Victorian Woman in Franchising.

Corina was presented with her award by Olympian and sports commentator Nicole Livingstone at the Franchise Council of Australia (FCA) Excellence in Franchising Awards event at the Melbourne Conference and Convention Centre.

Vucic has been the driving force behind the FC Business Solutions brand for the past four years, growing the team from three to 10, and expanding the number of services the firm offers, from the traditional franchise recruitment and training, to conference and events management, public relations and marketing, franchise system development, franchise health checks and organisational profiling.

Franchising has been the focus for most of her working life, with roles as general manager at both Autobarn and Clark Rubber.

Vucic has served as an FCA state chapter committee member since 2007 and was a committee member and chairperson of the FCA Women in Franchising.

“I am committed to the franchising sector it. I am passionate about it and the opportunities it can provide to a diverse range of people,” Vucic said.

“This is why I have set up and invested heavily in FC Business Solutions to help Australian franchise systems across the board prosper and grow in all areas.”

Vucic will represent Victoria in the FCA’s national awards to be held in Canberra in October.
