Appropriately named Jetts Fitness franchisee, Scott Dumbell, has taken out top honours at the franchise’s inaugural national conference and awards, winning two of the most prestigious awards on offer.

The Geelong franchisee claimed the National Club of the Year and Victoria Franchisee of the Year awards and Dumbell said the secret to his success was understanding the local market.

“As well as running the club at a business level, manager Danny Reeves and I are committed to taking the time out to see how we can improve the local community that supports us,” he said.

Jetts held its inaugural conference and national awards on the Gold Coast to celebrate standout achievements across the national network, which also recently reached a 100,000 member milestone across its 108 clubs.

Managing director of Jetts Fitness, Brendon Levenson, said all the winners deserved recognition for their valuable contributions.

“At Jetts we value network contribution very highly and these awards were just one of the ways we recognise our team members for going the extra mile.

“The winners’ efforts to enhance the business and add value across the network, embodies the spirit of the Jetts model, which continues to grow,” Levenson said.

Other Jetts winners include:

  • National Franchisee of the Year – Chris Pepper, Canning Vale, WA and
  • National Personal Trainer of the Year — Dree Ashby, Mount Gambier, SA
