McDonald’s is set to open its first vegetarian restaurant next year in India and significantly grow its network across the country.

The menu at Indian McDonald’s outlets is already 50 percent vegetarian to suit the religious culture of the region.

According to Inside Retail, there are plans for McDonald’s to double its outlets to more than 500 within the next 36 months.
